I could work with you .. or for your company... seems very client educated focused
I think its always a good idea to have a plan in place and a set of rules to go by.
Good principles.
Much success.
Susan. Good principles. I like them. You made some good points. Thanks for sharing. Royal..
Susan:
It is refreshing to read your Mission/Vision/Core Values statements. Some may call them fluffy or uneeded. I think they are critical to knowing who you are and what you are all about.
Your comments remind me of my own real estate company, Keller Williams Realty, and it's high-minded ideals. The core values of Keller Williams Realty is summed up in an acronym called WI4C2TS. Each letter in the acronym stands for part of the core values.
They are:
win-win or no deal
Integrity-do the right thing
Creativity-ideas before results
Committment in all things
Communication-see first to understand
Customers always come first
Trust-starts with honesty
Teamwork-together everyone achieves more
Success-through others
Susan, very good advice. We sometimes forget that real estate is a business and should be treated as such.
Good Post!
Eric, thanks. I am a huge proponet of empowering others.
Shane, defintely. You must have a set of guidelines.
Linda, thanks for stopping by.
Royal, your welcome and thank you for your comment.
Stan, I like those too, thanks for sharing.
Michael, yes, we often do.
Thanks for sharing. We post our mission statement and values on our wall and last week I printed it on a poster and had all the agents sign it. I think it's so important to share what you believe and align yourself with others that will support the vision.
Christy, thanks. I like the idea of having it in every office. I'm going to do that :)
I've been fortunate that I was always able to create a company before actually opening for business. That meant having my business protocols in place and having the company well-capitalized. There are so many people who open a business and then try to create it on the run. I have seen them fail way too often by that method.
