This post came about from an email I received over the weekend, through none other than Active Rain.
Well, it appears that this seller has been attempting to sell his house for some time now.
(photo from www.StJosephStatue.com - one of many online places to purchase these figures)
From his email he mentions that he is on his second Realtor & hopes “she can be our angel to sell.” He responded to my post about St. Josephs’ statues. You can read more about that here.
He had questions about placement of said statue. Problem is, I’m NOT an expert on St. Joseph statues & their effect on the sale of homes.
I have first hand knowledge of success with them but I also have first hand knowledge of no success with them also.
Is it because they were buried facing up or down or in the back yard or the front? Is it because you purchased them from the wrong establishment?
OR
Does this all go back to the law of attraction?
By now, I’m sure many of you have read or watched “The Secret”. I was originally turned onto it early last year by someone on my mailing list. I watched it, enjoyed it, thought it made sense & continued practicing it. Since then I’ve watched it again & still think it’s a great movie. I already knew about the law of attraction though, it’s nothing new.
But “The Secret” does put it in a way that anyone can relate to.
So, does this whole St. Joseph statue superstition fall into the same category? You envision the house selling when you bury it so it happens?
I have a customer now with one buried (they mailed it to me to bury - photo to left) but their house hasn’t sold yet.
It’s priced well in the range other comparables. I think they are somehow ‘blocking’ their house from selling.
They are very worried about the sale of this house & I believe they may have lost hope. I think if they practice the law of attraction & envision the house sold it will happen.
Unfortunately, I think they are focusing on the PROBLEM of the home NOT being sold.
Have you experienced the law of attraction in your real estate business?
What about with your customers & clients?
Yours in Success,

Susan, Lots and lots of different opinions. Some say it has to be purchased from your Local Church that you are a Member of, some say that the owners are the ones that have to bury the Statue and say the Prayer. Some say face up, some say face down.... Who really knows???
I did it in Wisconsin when we were getting ready to move to Florida, we sold in 3 days. But my Home was priced to sell, so again who knows.
I do know that my instructions said to Bury face down, say the Prayer ect. They also said to dig up the Statue when we sold and display it Prominently in our home, which we still do...
Good Luck!
Susan, Here's the problem. They need to bury a 'Broker Bryant" statue in their front yard. It's the only thing that will work:)
I do practice the law of attraction in my business. I visualise what I need to achieve and many times is happens. I dont know if it's a "secret" or just good old fashion positive attitude. But it does work. Or course you also have to take action.
Susan...
Last call to RSVP for the Active Rain Orlando Gathering? Are you coming? Or? :)
Oh...Don't forget if you have someone bury a "Broker Bryant" figurine...I have "Broker Bryant" shovels so that they can dig him up :)
TLW...ROAR!

First about the St. Joseph Statue - I am about to go out and purchase about a 1/2 dozen or so!! Ready to try anything to get my listings sold!!
Next - The Secret - back in Nov. 2006 I was introduced to the movie - thought it was great and purchased it myself - every now and then I do watch it to remind me that there is something real powerful about this way of thinking. Also purchased the book for both my kids to read. I really believe in "The Law of Attraction "- that is what it is all about!
